Welcome for Revd Sue Lepp

After nearly 10 months without a Lead Chaplain, Revd Sue Lepp’s arrival and installation was warmly welcomed by airport staff and other Ecumenical guests at a special service of Welcome on 26 October 2023. Members of the chaplaincy staff and London Gatwick executive team presented Sue with tools of the trade: a lanyard and a Bible. Prayers were led by Salvation Army officers Simon & Linda Perkin. Background

Sue is originally from Calgary, Canada and has lived in the UK for over 14 years. Originally trained as a Nurse, she spent most of her nursing career caring for cancer patients & families, including as a MacMillan Palliative Care Nurse. Her call to ordained Anglican ministry came through hospital chaplaincy at the Royal Brompton Hospital. In 2014, she moved to Oxford to train at Wycliffe Hall. Sue served her curacy in the Parish of Langley Marsh in Slough. where she also volunteered with Thames Valley Police in 2018. Revd Lepp is also Parish Priest for St Nicholas’ Charlwood & Emmanuel Sidlow Bridge churches.
